What has really changed after the Orams Case Clarification?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Sell my apartment to a foreigner and I will take legal action , I think all owners of property in the occupied areas will consider legal action , and why not.
The Brits are now destitute , cant sell and cant escape the long arm of the law.
How many Brits do you now see investing in the occupied part ? I say none what say you VP ?

Milt, I am surprised at you. What happens in this situations is that it will simply go underground. Russian, Israeli, Turkish and dare I say Greek Mafia will probably snap up the bargains. Which market has any government ever been able to stop by legal means. Heroin? cocaine?

dont know why anyone would think the case would help for a solution

maybe just for other cypritos who had their stolen property sold off by turks who wanted some quick cash so they could buy their mercedes and house... winning this case meant maybe others would have a good chance of getting justice from the people that are ok with selling and buying stolen land...

in the long term i think it will help with properties.

you talk with such hatred like you want partition like you dont want a solution in cyprus, like your happy to see stolen property sold.

I only reciprocate what I get from GCs, if this clarification was in favor of TCs they would have annihilated it just like they want to annihilate the TCs. Do unto others what they do to you.

from a war the turks started in the first place from the 20,000 you people killed off on arriving to cyprus... fromt he bomb TMT put for the tcs in cyprus which started the war up between both sides.. where the gcs supposed to sit there and take it and say loot our buildings more and destroy our villages?..

its the turks that have given nothing all along and come with force to take whats not theirs and destroy whatever comes in its path simply because they are not a turk race so that means they are not human.. if its not turk it doesent deserve to be alive

Now you have gotten that off your chest tell us what the GCs did or didnt do?

nothing im just saying that ur very anti solution in cyprus and rather see such a tiny land split in two instead when you say you treat the gcs how they have treated you, when infact its the turks that have been treating gcs like mud the entire time..

you have such a negative attitude towards cy problem. it would be nice to see more like XXnilXX who is very much for a re united land. i dont see why both sides cant just live together and stop fighting for reasons that who knows what they where..

Next thing the RoC will do most likely, is to sue the TCA and THY for landing it's planes on property in the north which the original owners have not given permission to be used as an airport, therefore trespassing on their land and have the planes confiscated by any of the other 26 EU nations if fines are not paid by TCA and THY.!!

The past 49 years are proof that we cannot live together, the last 35 proving that living apart works better for everyone. You want to go back to when GCs ruled supreme with a free hand to do as they wish. You are unwilling to share and see us as equals your main aim is to take the whole of Cyprus and once again rule supreme regulating us to a silenced minority.

Well, your post would make sense, only if the agents you have mentioned above can smoke land up their noses and shoot land into their veins to make it disappear from Cyprus, otherwise, the evidence will always be there to be claimed by the original owners.!

Fred , you are surprised at me !!!!! Fred what on earth are you on mate ? What will go underground ? You cant move the immovable , land will always be land and you cant trade land ...underground .
I have only a measly flat in Famagusta , third floor , two bedroom flat , who can possibly trade my flat in the same manner as cocaine !!
Come on Fred , you must know that this is the end of the road for the "trnc" economy . Finished , totally reliant on the goodwill of Turkey , no more foreign investors no more casinos and no more brothels either !
We are approaching the reunification point and soon I might add.
All Cypriots must now know that the rule of the jungle has come to an end.

its because the wrong people are at the table. i think with the right people we would have a solution a lot quicker, i think more tcs and gcs are happy to live in a united island rather then split in two rather then rather see no solution... so many of tcs travel to south all the time and get on just fine as gcs who go into the north...

i think the turk main aim is to split the land in two like it always was...

tcs are a minority .. its not such a problem for turks to be a minority in germany or england or america.. or is it because they dont have the power to split them countries in two thats why they stay happy as a minority in them countries?... a minority but not a silent one like going to england and complaining that ur a minority..

tcs and gcs equal rights living under one island.. cyprus is so small why split it in two?

We both see ourselves as indigenous to Cyprus and TCs will never accept becoming just another minority living under the administration of GCs. That's why a BBF is necessary nothing will be as it was, BF with political equality of the 2 founding states. How do yo know the majority of TCs want to live in a unified state under GCs?
