How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

the eu viewpoint if you havent realized it is a organization that was built on comprimises of its members for the eventual good of all its members, the "crisis"that you refer to is and will be over passed like they have in the past, and statments comming out of ankara the last three years concerning ascesion i would beg to differ with your analysis of turkeys EU hopes.

You do know that Turkey will have to give on cyprus if the want full integration with the EU,you have realized this havent you?

Turkey do remember last time she wanted EU's money what happened. RoC got admitted to EU limping on one leg, by the threat of veto from Greece on financial prototcol to Turkey.

I dare GC and Greece to veto Turkey's accesion course. I really hope they do.

and what are you going to do overfly a island or close the border crossing?grow up idiots.

grow up idiots.

typical, only to be expected,

Turkey is well aware of the difficult road ahead and the change involved, Turkey should aspire to EU standards this will only bring positive developments but entering the EU in 10++ years should be re-evaluated. I to like turkcyp would love to see Southern Cyprus or Greece (although realistically I think they may get pipped to the post by other EU members) veto Turkey and the results that would follow in realtion to solving the Cyprus issue, imo GCs via Papadop are betting heavily on EU leverage but personally I feel this will backfire and the south will realize that the EU solution they dream of is just hot air.

If Turkey gives up TC, will TC accept everything GC wish? Or will they gives up from their right?

If they dont, Than everything will be worse. Because If TC have nothing to trust, They will less probably accept union.(Because this time there would be noone to protect them.)

So you should realy think,Turkey retreat would be better or worse.

i never said the t/c to give up there rights or anything for that matter what im saying is turkey will as the ascesion goes on the will lose cyprus as a negotiating chip, because lets face it thats all turkey has the north for so they can use as a chip in a poker game,no one ever said anyhting about accepting everything the g/c side wants or for that matter the t/c losing everything that they currently have.
