Piratis, the “big bang” theory is one that attempts to explain the EXPANSION of the cosmos but NOT its birth.

The initial trigger is the most important thing and not the natural yet complex process that took place thereafter, which the “big bang” theory then tries to explain.

There are theories for the initial trigger as well. But if we assume that there was a big bang then your Religion theories are proven wrong already. Is there anything in the Bible referring to a big bang? No.

That's based on your assumption that God wanted to discuss details of the creation with man and that he would use the same terminology as the person who coined the phrase "big bang"!

The crux of the gospels is the alleged "coming kingdom of God" and not cosmos theory, but let's not sidetrack into that.

Furthermore, any specific religion theories have already been proven wrong. For example we already know for a fact that the world was not created in 7 days and that the earth is not the center of the universe.

When you read in the bible that the universe was created in 7 days it actually refers to 7 millenniums not 24-hour days!

Maybe it actually refers to the seven dwarfs?

By Snowhite you're onto something!

By the way, seven millenniums (7000 years) is still not much different than 7 days. We know for a fact that our universe is more than 10 billion (10000000000) years old ;)

Now like a good religious person go and "refer" from your bible what science taught you, and say that each day is a billion years ;)

God tells us it took him “6 days” to CREATE the universe, (on the 7th he rested) but he doesn’t say how long ago so don’t jump to conclusions…

How long ago?

According to the Bible ... 6,000 years ago

So the Choirokitians existed since before God created the World.

Every living thing must have a BIRTH or a SOURCE if you like, otherwise it must be infinite... (<- reminds you of something?)

How do you know the "Universe" is "living"?

Do I REALLY have to answer that... :?

Perhaps define "living" ....

Clearly you can't. Another of your dead-ends?

But if one used a common definition of "living" since that was the word you chose to describe the Universe, it would be, apart from various other factors, that it could reproduce.

So, would you now like to expand on how our Universe is repoducing i.e. "living" according to you ... because there are many physicists waiting with baited breath for your answer ....

So what we consider ""life""could appear like in another place within the (our) universe or the universe as a whole maybe difficult to comprehend for us,

But seeing as the earth is a living thing and its part of the universe then the universe is living innit!!

Defining life is very simple… it’s actively functioning, and the flow of the procedure goes like this…

Non-existence > Birth > Function > Death > Non-existence

The universe is definitely living or there wouldn't be planets/stars constantly being born and dying, solar systems would cease radiating their energy, new galaxies would cease to be formed, and the universe itself would cease expanding/contracting (depending on which stage of its life it’s at) etc.

That question is not answered anywhere in the bible.

Oracle, I’ve known you for a couple of years now, and if I were to guess what your line of work might be I’d say a “tabloid columnist” but never a “scientist”… of any kind.

Our inability to grasp the existence of the universe is troubling enough without us attempting to also tackle who might have created an infinite being... it doesn’t even make any sense! We should learn to crawl before we walk…

We know enough about the evolutionary process, over billions of years since the Big Bang,

I'm done reading your assumptions based on even further assumptions... stick to tsatista!

And your idea of science stems from pondering on what makes your cereal go "snap, crackle and pop"
