But why should Turkey have a say?

What have the Greeks got to do with it?

If RoC can sign agreement with Egypt, Lebanon and Israel regarding oil, you don't see why Turkey should have a say?

No. Cypriots in the north may be entitled to a say... especially after reunification. But not Turkey. Unless Cyprus signs an agreement.

What's genetics got to do with it? Do you mean Greeks or Greek Cypriots? And if you mean Greek Cypriots, do you include Maronites, Armenians and other citizens of the republic who may not be entirely happy to be labelled as such?

If talking is the only way forward then I suggest we choose or words more carefully.

I was refering to the Greeks and the Greek element of the GCs.

What lesson do Greeks have to learn from past mistakes? Their country was liberated after the events of 74. It's Cyprus that was invaded and divided. As for the Greek elements of the GCs - what lessons do you expect such people to learn? Learning isn't their strong point. What lessons have the Turkish elements of the TCs learnt from 35 years of isolation?

It was not a general point. It's about drilling for oil and the mistake Greeks made in the 70s, not talking to Turkey and consequently not taking a drop out. If RoC follows the same path, that's the lesson that the Greeks element of the GCs have not learned.

Why should we talk to Turkey when they wont to talk to US!? lol

We are not good enough to talk to Turkey regarding their occupation of our land but we are good enough to talk to when they want the oil in our waters??

Are you THAT blindly nationalistic !?

That's strange because during WW2 more than 20 million people died and yet the French, Germans and the Brits are all in bed together. It’s the European way. You know it makes sense. If you don’t talk, you will get as much out as Greece did. I hope you are happy with that.
