It hasn't happened to Armenians or Maronites in power. So here's my proposal: cut the umbilical chord between TCs and Turkey, ie. remove the troops, the guarantees and the intervention rights. I know you won't like it but it's the only way to ensure TCs act for Cyprus not as Turkey's proxy; and so won't be brushed aside.

How will you guarantee that

I think we can safely guarantee this could go on forever...

You are not giving me an real answers, why?

It's abundantly clear you will agree to nothing other than partition, viewpoint. That's why. And it's tiresome.

The best guarantee for Cyprus is to take all the Turkish Settlers (old and new) back to Turkey. The Turkish invaders are the problem of Cyprus. Not only they invade and kill but they also stop peace, democracy and freedom from coming to Cyprus. Take the Turks back in Turkey and Cyprus will have peace and democracy guaranteed! We will be free on our island and Turks like Viewpoint will live among people with whom they are compatible with and will have as much Turkish army as they want. The best solution!

You're right. It is impossible for me to give you the guarantees you are insisting on, viewpoint. I'm sorry.

If you just remove Sotos, Piratis and Oracle from cyprus, the guarantee problem will be resolved.

So your saying take a leap into darkness and trust GCs? Do you honestly expect us to do such a thing?

Clearly you wouldn't, viewpoint, perhaps with justification, given how irresponsible one or two of them appear to be on this Forum. But, for the same reason, most if not all GCs do not trust Turkey's army to continue providing "guarantees". And I certainly wouldn't blame them for that either. So we are back to stalemate.

I personally understand your concerns and support the departure of the TA after we agree a comprehensive solution, but you must appreciate that we are also afraid of you guys and do not feel secure without their guarantee, seeing it will be a BBF then Turkey could guarantee solely the North state with no rights to intervene in the south.
