Invader is somebody who is coming by force with no permission and forces his rules over you. Ex-pats come legally and follow the rules that Cyprus makes. So no problem with them.

Thank you but we don't need any Nazis here forcing us what to do. You invented Capitalism but if you want to implement a different system go ahead and apply it to your own country. If it is successful then maybe we will follow your example. The system we invented is democracy and we like it. And we like our freedom as well. So stop invading us and trying to tell us what to do and let us do what we want with our country as you can do what you want with yours. In the end what is the best is what makes people happy. And the Cypriot people would be the happiest if they were free, with democracy and without foreign invaders.

Sotos, I`m sorry for laughing but I am not a Nazi and not even German. I am not forcing anybody to do anything and would never consider joining an army to invade your Island of Love.
Yes , Zeitgeist comes from a German word, but that`s all. There is NO German connection what so ever. If you had taken the time to open the links I provided, you would have known that.
I am a good natured individual with no religious following and I`m not racist. I love nature and see the world as a whole. I`m a member of Greenpeace, and do my bit for the good of all people from all walks of life regardless of race or colour.
All I am interested in, is stopping corporate thugs and trumps and corrupt world leaders from doing as they wish while gradually destroying the planet and illegally plundering the worlds resources.

I opened this thread just to show that there are other ways and means to exist on this planet. Where TRUE freedom, equality, peace, love and harmony is not just a dream.

ES, I`m definitely not a member of such forums and quite surprised how you can jump to such a conclusion after only a couple of posts.

Another understanding is that greed serves to bring as many things that the greedy person considers valuables to that person, making him/her the center of his efforts, the one he aims to please, converting him into his own god, and creating pride with great concentration on the ego.

So for every extra £/$ you strive to make to improve your status and ego ( A truly misguided way to live) the more people will die as a result.
Have you ever heard of the expression, `The more you earn, the more you spend` ???? The more you spend, the richer THEY get. The richer THEY get, the less they care. The less they care, the less YOU care and all you are worried about is how big your next pay cheque is. In effect what you are doing is closing your eyes to REAL issues and the future of the planet.

The reason I have come to this web forum is because I have a feeling about Cyprus. I don`t know why exactly and leaving myself open to a severe `flaming`, but I feel there is something about that part of the world. It may have had some significance in the past or may have in the future. As I say, It`s just a feeling. The lost City of Atlantis or something like that.

I don`t claim to be able to see into the future, but something has brought me here. Maybe , just, maybe, Cyprus and It`s people are going to lead the way in bringing about a significant change in our understandings of how we SHOULD be living.
