Why did the TC owners of the Istinjo houses intentionally neglect them, Viewpoint? There was nothing to stop them from maintaining their properties. And indeed, nothing to stop them from living in them, either.

A little thing like fear for their lives dues to actions taken by GC bastards.

Let's get it straight!

Varosha is a disgrace and there is NO EXCUSE for Turkey to keep it in its present state and prevent its rightful owners from returning,if they have genuine goodwill and want to solve this problem?Congratulations to Rafaella for the photos-I used to live there and know the owners of several houses shown in them-please P.M. me for more info...
When I was in the U.N. in 1975,I personally witnessed the so-called 'voluntary' departure of Turkish Cypriots from villages in Paphos district-many of the elderly ones were crying and made to leave by leaders of their community against their will....when I reported this to my senior officer,I was told it was not my business!
These people were of course sent to occupy Greek-Cypriot properties in the north-a nice example of implementing partition with international collusion!I wonder why Turkey did not allow Varosha refugees to return as a reciprocal gesture at least?

This is like the Gcs giving up sole recognition before a comprehensive solution all in the name of goodwill you understand.
