How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Here you go… some of my threads on Greece to keep you busy for a while! :)

Yep, you can definitely tell they are your threads because one can find themselves dumbing down in intellect if they try to take them serious. But what exactly is their relevance to this topic, which is about the Greek history and heritage of Cyprus.

This is what I posted:

What we do have is contemporary history, primary sources, and archeological evidence, which have been provided in this thread. And the detractors in here haven't provided not even one source that proves otherwise. That's what you need to do.

And you still haven't provided anything that proves otherwise, have you now?

The Greek embezzlement of Cypriot heritage…

None of the points you posted actually support this. You just copy and past whatever without actually even reading it. One of the articles you quoted its first sentence reads:

"A classics and linguistics scholar has found a bridge between the pre-alphabetic scripts of the ancient Greeks of Cyprus..."

“Hellenism” - the greatest mythology of them all!
http://www.cyprus-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=23069

Fyrom propaganda and anti-Greek ranting. With the way you were owned in this thread I was surprised you actually provided the link to it.

If Cyprus is a “Greek” island then...

This is just a moronic poll you started with no intellectual discussion or worth.

Greece’s Human Rights Portfolio…

Okay. Articles on Greece and human rights. And how is this relevant to what happened c. 1200 BC?

Ανεξάρτητη Κρήτη 2012! (Independent Crete 2012!)

This is about Crete. How exactly does this disprove the Greekness of Cyprus?

That’s something I just can’t fathom! That is GR being humiliated by others because he does it so well on his own.

What you need to do is get GR in contact with some of your university professors so he can write his Cyprus version of the Ataturk Turkish History Thesis.

You can refer him to Professor Ahmet Arslan:

The Istanbul University Alumni Association:

Are American Indians Turkish?

Spot on barouti.

You have actually taken the words right out of my mouth. What you posted above is exactly what I was referring to when I stated that GR resorts to "tongue-in-cheek analysis and faulty assumptions". You have spelt it out for him in a very succinct manner. Great post.

I actually believe that GR doesn't even take many of his own claims seriously. He is just frustrated by the junta's mistakes and that Greece hasn't gone to war for Cyprus yet. This thread gives you an insight into GR's thinking (if he does any  ):

Barouti, in a nutshell your response is…

“Everything GR says is stupid and I’m very clever! I rest my case!”

…so I predict you’ll become very popular here among the Greek nationalists, because that’s all they’ve managed here too all these years! Image

PS: Here’s another “stupid” article you need not counter…

Just call it stupid and you win this argument too!

Simon’s strategy: The more Greek nationalists that call GR’s threads “stupid” the merrier!

You're not that far off actually GR...

(Just substitute "call" for "prove" and you are more or less right). :D
