How uncultured and unworthy of you to resort to such cheap, childish and uncouth insults. You're a disgrace to the remote, distinctive, sometimes peculiar, ancient Hellenic traditions that you value so highly.

His name is not 'gunpowder' for nothing. He does create a bad sulphurous stink.

Were you thinking of Hydrogen Sulphide by any chance, I can smell it from here. The wind must be coming from that direction. This reminds me of another forumer, but I can't quite focus and put my finger on which one. Butt it sure stinks to kingdom come.

No Yfred.

Barut = gunpowder in Turkish. Made from Charcoal Sulphur and Potassium nitrate. Hydrogen sulphide will be a by product, hence the stink.

What those people like The Cypriot and GR don't realise is the Phoenicians were of Hellenic descent themselves (colonists from Crete) . Also another point is they had trading colonies all across the Mediterranean and as far away as the British Isles.
