There is useful information on both sides boards and the majority of posts are made by sensible people who wish to learn or help.
Good luck with your "win" although for the life of me I can not see what it is you have won - nothing has changed and we in the North still do not exist so unless you agree that we do exisit, you have won yet another round of RoC self backslapping. Well done.

Perhaps we are on the way to winning your pension and savings!

OK, you are either a lecturer or a professor, either of which titles seems to express a certain standard of education, alegedley.

Kindly let the world and myself know exactly what it is you think you have won!

As for my savings - sorry, I have none, all spent in support of a nation that has suffered unjust embargoes by the rest of a gutless world.
My pension! At least I pay full income tax on it before I get it and don't try to hide under a double taxation agreement whilst claiming heating allowances. If you want it then you can have it - grow up down there, you are supposed to be a christian country, try to act slightly christian.

So, you don't know what you have won or it is not written down so you can't "Lecture" on it - therefore just ignore it and hope it will go away.

And you wonder why so many people have no idea why there is a problem in Cyprus? Beggars belief.

Ismet,

Remember me - Eric/Pikey of Kyrenia? One of the sole voices of dissent in the north of Cyprus? Remind me if you still have my posts blocked for automatic moderation on your own TRNC forum before coming on here and talking about "free speech and debate".

elko wrote:Cyprus 44 and TRNC Villa Owners, the two most popular forums in TRNC are down, guess what? Do you think the GCs have a monopoly in the hacking game? All I can tell you is try not to upset some of the Turkish hackers, they can be very damaging.
Anyway, I hope these sites will be up and running very soon. I hope you are not afraid of free speach and debate.

As far as Orams is concerned, legal battles are full of zigzags and there are many ahead. I remember the days of Loizidou decision, somebody was going to arrest the planes of Turkish Airways in Europe. Do you remember? Of course none of you have good memories and anything prior to 1974 is completely wiped out. Rejoice now my friends whilst you can because I am afraid it will not last long. We will see.

But, we are not in the EU? The whole Island is but this bit at the top is not allowed to have any of the "perks", like the old straight banana and things, so what is the point?
I can understand it if you are aiming at those EU citizens who have purchased illegally anywhere on the Island but for non-EU's it has no real effect.
Being on pre74 title land I am happy with my position but understand that lots of people on both sides of the line must now be worried.

Good morning and welcome to the forum

A few questions if I may

You say you are in property with pre74 deeds and I have no reason to doubt this is true until proved otherwise.

Why did you purchase pre74 property? Could it be because you had the sense to realise that other property without these deeds would eventually lead to eviction and a considerable amount of compensation paid to the legal owner?

Why does property with pre74 deeds cost so much more than other properties?

Do you agree with EU nationals buying illegal property?

Hoe can you support/sympathise with persons who have bought illegal properties?

Most of the postings on here are not aimed at persons with legal right to stay in property with pre74 deeds it is the carpetbaggers who took the stolen goods who are despised.

What will happen when eventually Turkey achieves EU status in your opinion?

Do you believe for one minute they will sacrifice this for the sake of 5000??? persons who have aquired stolen property?
