Anyway, I hope these sites will be up and running very soon. I hope you are not afraid of free speach and debate.

As far as Orams is concerned, legal battles are full of zigzags and there are many ahead. I remember the days of Loizidou decision, somebody was going to arrest the planes of Turkish Airways in Europe. Do you remember? Of course none of you have good memories and anything prior to 1974 is completely wiped out. Rejoice now my friends whilst you can because I am afraid it will not last long. We will see.

Are you sure that its hackers who have caused the close down of sites and not the pseudo govt?? (as in Turkey Vs Youtube not so long back)

Could it not be possible they didn't like the 'bad press they were getting from carpetbaggers and GCs alike- As we all know the Turks are the last bastion of free speech

Let us be serious for a change. Both have been hacked, thousand of computers were trying to log on at the same time, hence causing them to crash.

What is that, is it a derivative of morphene? :)
Anyway, the oranges from Lefka were much much tastier than what you could ever grow in Morphou!!! Jokes aside, it is actually true. Something to do with the weather and the soil.

so you are saying that it was an organised, synchronised log on that caused the crash?

or maybe just lots of persons interested in putting their views across and the sever couldnt cope?

or that a hacker decided to shut the forum on a day when people would be wanting to log on?

To be honest I cannot see why a GC supporting Hacker would want to shut these fora at this time when it would be to their advantage to be able to follow what was being said on these fora

I really do think that you're over-estimating there importance

Being a Greek Cypriot town, you're forgiven for not knowing the proper way to address someone from there.

Thank you my son, now I know it :)
Now my turn, a Paphian in Turkish is called "Bafli", but the "i" has no dot on it. Those from Ktima can be called "Kasabali" but we prefer the general term Bafli. A Paphian is always a Paphian, no matter which town or village.
