Shareholders and companies are seperate legal entities and it would not matter one jot whether the shareholder had assets in the EU.

Food for thought.

The ownership is not at question here...we know who the owners are they are GC's.

The penalties the court will dish out are for the usage of the property....

Try Again!

No need.

A GC court could not force a TC registered company to either demolish the property or return it to a GC.

Penalties for being a tenant in a property? Hardly likely to worry the person transferring the property.

Perhaps I should suggest this as a course of action on a North Cyprus website!!

What don't you get?

If someone is found living on a piece of property that was built on GC land then he will be forced to pay penalties for the USE of the land and not for the "ownership" since "trnc ownership" is not recognised.

You can sign up the properties on a company registered in Kuala Lumpur if you like, if you're using the property you're liable.

What am i doing?

Dude you're right, thats the way out of this!

Sorry DT. I didn't see this posting as I was was typing my previous comment.

You are not getting it. No matter what legal facade is constructed, the legal wrong is committed by those in POSSESSION of the property, they are the ones that get shafted. Are you getting it now? Even if they are guests in the property they are committing trespass and the tort of conversion and a whole host of other civil wrongs.

If they resort to company formation etc you might also throw in civil conspiracy and make matters a lot worse for the lowlifes that actually occupy lands that belong to GCs.

And you can take that "constitutional" decree that "nationalised" GC land and figure out what to do with it.

Finding a loop hole to accommodate the continuation of crime against Greek Cypriot land/property, can only anger GCs further to pursue further EU judgments against the “TRNC” to the point where more and more Turkish Cypriots will suffer. Eventually TCs won’t even be able to fart in the “TRNC”, so if that’s what your aim is keep brainstorming like a criminal and watch you people become extinct.

The Greek Cypriots are NOT peddling TC property away to foreigners and have even setup special laws to protect them, so perhaps you should start questioning your attitude and linking it to the existence of the Cyprus Problem…

A Director of a company weather it is registered in the North or over seas will be liable for any illegal proceedings. The company as a serperate entity may be registered in occupied areas, but the Director and Shareholder will have to be a non eu Citizen to escape any kind of liability or judgement from an EU court.

Why do you think directors of companies get prosecuted for company failures?

Where have I advocated that the action I have mentioned should be taken?

When you say 'you people become extinct' it would have made sense if you had clarified what 'you people' are. For instance do you mean people who have bought land that wasn't Turkish Cypriot or foreign owned pre 74 or perhaps you meant people who like eating oranges?

If GCs wish to attempt more EU actions and increase any further the possibilty of South Cyprus having Turkey instead of the TRNC as a neighbour that is their right.

Instead of “you people” read “your people”.

One of the first things law students learn is that conversion relates to goods and not land. Get it?

The person/s who transferred the property would be tenant/s.

If, however you have any credible thoughts it would be interesting to learn of them.

So this would make the people of Britain extinct? A rather strange thing to say.

The "trnc" is Turkey, so what will change. It is only the blind who refuses to see the connection between the above two.! In the end, the RoC will have to deal with Turkey anyway to get them to leave the island and by taking her "trnc" with her to have the possibility of becoming a EU member. 70 Million Turks welfare will be more important to her than the welfare of 120,000 True TC's. Turkey may even help by taking the TC's with her for them to live in Turkey. It will be Mission Accomplished both for Turkey and the RoC.!

Great post DT! I also think that Mr. T should post his limited liability company idea to as many forums and websites as possible. Hell, these guys sound so miserable as of late, I am even voluteering to set their companies and charge only the out of pocket. All I need is their full name, address of the property they are currently tresspassing on and details of any property or other assets within the EU I can put an attachment on.
