Why don't you come this Sunday and demolish my house, even better: take back your land (you never lived on)? You accented Greek speaking Cypriots are just bad losers.

And welcome to you DC. Welcome to the free world and one of its forums where, within reason, you can say what you like without being banned as I was twice on C44 for simply expressing a point of view that Izzet did not like.

You should know this; most Greek Cypriots do not have a problem with Turkish Cypriots, our problem is with Turkey and its puppet government. Personally my biggest problem is with outsiders who knew nothing about the situation in Cyprus until they found out they could "buy" a cheap holiday home there in the sun.

There has been conflict between Greeks and Turks in the Mediterranean for centuries, the likes of yourself stumble across the events of the 1960s to justify your purchase in the sun. "Oh the GCs were nasty to the TCs and got chased away by Turkey, they deserve what they got" is what you think, I know, I've heard it said on Cyprus 44 would you believe!

I suggest you dig a little deeper, try these for a start http://www.ellopos.com/blog/?p=98

RE Jerry: Greek speaking Cypriots, Cypriot Turks, Brits, Greeks and Turks are all part of the problem and are not exactly the people who are qualified to look unbiased at "the problem". I'm Dutch, I'm not involved - but I've made my mind after reading views from ALL sides. I don't need your suggested links, thank you - I'm trained to find my own sources. PS. I'm sorry to say that talking to (too) many Greek speaking Cypriots is a dialogue between deaf ears.
