Hi,

I am currently trying to tie up a pre season tour for an English Professional Football where they will come to train for a week and also play 2 games against Cypriot opposition which will take place in the middle of July.

I am being told by many people that English teams do not come to Cyprus for pre season because of how hot the weather is.

I lived in Limassol for 18 months or so a a few years back and yes, even though it is hot (I enjoyed the sun), surely it will help the english team pre pare for the new season and get them fitter?

I would like to hear you feedback on this, if it is or if it is not a good idea to bring the team out to Cyprus.

Also, when was the last time an english team had a pre season in training camp and games in Cyprus?

Please can you also tell me where and when do the Cypriot Professional teams do their pre season training.

Any other feedback would be great too

All first division clubs do their pre-season training abroad. (most in Austria, Netherlands, Slovenia, SLovakia etc.)

Depending on the level of your club I might be able to sort something out so pm me the details.
