VP wasn't in Cyprus between 1963 to 74, so what are you on about?
And why are you comparing VP to me?

When I first joined, Viewpoint was really bitchy to me in a way which reminded me of my girls' high school.

They'd have to be 50 and over so that's almost certainly the case.
I appreciate what you must have lived through YFred but you're far more empathetic than VP in your engagement with whom you perceive to be the 'other' side. It annoys me (that word again) when people hark back to the 50's or 60s as an excuse for why the human rights of Cypriots TODAY, who may not even have been born, should be restricted.
