But the issue is whether it is deception, I suppose

When I first joined, Viewpoint was really bitchy to me in a way which reminded me of my girls' high school.

That's it.... there's definitely an underlying bitchiness. It's not like locking horns with a male oaf. It's like being pinched and scratched by an annoying female brat.

Even though I often argued and disagreed with what she was saying, I have to say that I found Viewpoint to be an educated person with depth and values, and almost always I could often read between the lines of her posts that she was struggling with her own consciousness and cognition on the one hand,

and her other need to unconditionally defend the historical and officially established Turkish and TC leadership positions.

But why that need? That's what I cannot fathom. That's what I find so annoying. Viewpoint is a misnomer. For VP doesn't have a 'viewpoint'... just the official party line which she regurgitates ad nauseum.

I appreciate what you must have lived through YFred but you're far more empathetic than VP in your engagement with whom you perceive to be the 'other' side. It annoys me (that word again) when people hark back to the 50's or 60s as an excuse for why the human rights of Cypriots TODAY, who may not even have been born, should be restricted.

There has to be some restriction for a while. This union cannot happen in one go, it will have to be in stages. Its not just that people will not get on, those who do not want peace will distroy it in no time. I mean the grey wolves and the southern dawn lot. Which is why it has to be in steps of closer union.

Well what a week eh?

One thing that's been reaffirmed to me is that our Noble Cause is a just one cos once again another aspect of it has been tested and passed A+ in another of the world's great courts so that there is still Great Hope for a unitary state in which the Rights of All are respected.

This week has shown all Free Men/Women that there is still everything to play for. Just keep Pres X away from any pens for a while longer.
