Turkish reaction from the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet

Akgün said if the issue is left to the European Court of Human Rights, the cost of paying compensation in individual cases or to a property commission on the island would be steep. He suggested the only solution is for an internationally supported peace plan, such as the Annan Plan that was rejected by Greek Cypriots in 2004, which could also resolve the property issue

The total cost of the cases is calculated as being around $40 billion. Akgün said Turkey should focus on taking legal measures against such cases rather than making political reactions. "We need to seek technical solutions that will make the court’s decision meaningless and find a way to push Greek Cypriots into a corner," he said.

So Ankara wants guarantees that any possible agreement on the Cyprus issue will make "the court’s decision meaningless". Here is the link to the Hurriyet article:

What do you guys think?

That is just meaningless Turkish bluster. They weren't so unhappy with the British court's initial decision and thought Mrs. Blair would save them. It turns out they got bad legal advice and lost. Now they are screwed and are looking for a way out. Bad news for them is the court's decision is final and a precedent has been set. The Greek Cypriots will not give up their legal rights. If the Turks think they can reverse this decision they are more deluded than I thought.
