Firstly, the lease agreement was never terminated, the Brits refused to pay after Turkey sided with the Germans after the 1st World War. 'Divide and Conquer' and never pay ones dues was the the Great Empires motto! And as for living in a council house supping cheap grog all I can reply to that one is you must have known me for a very long time!

Sorry to disappoint you but while its in the hands of the Turks, it is called Gelibolu, if you get it back, you can call it your a*se. Free country.
