I'd stand well clear. Sounds very messy.

Stop the insults please VP. This is a nice forum. Set a better example to our new members.

NO.

A can of worms and Pandora's box is about to explode!

The mixed metaphors aside, a can of worms has already exploded, right in the lap of those thieving individuals of doubtful parentage who snapped up stolen properties and thought they would profit from other people's misfortune.

Let's not forget the whole Island was Ottoman until it was leased to the British late 19thC.

Is this what your friends in Kyrenia are telling you, Birnsley? Nevertheless, you are, at best, quite cluless about these things, aren't you? Cyprus was not Ottoman. It was ruled by the Ottomans at the time you mention - there is a difference. The leasing arrangement was terminated in early 20thC, at which time Cyprus became a British colony (until 1960, of course).

As G. Bush 1 failed to finish the job in 1991 so did the Turks in 1974!

What "job" do you mean, Birnsley? Do tell!

BTW, are you the same person who was trying to tell us on this forum a few days ago, that Cyprus "cheated their way into the EU" ? Not that it matters if you are - just curious.

Oh my God, Brinsley, do you think?

Somebody call the reckless refugee who had the audacity to pursue justice! Tell him not to be so stupid as to demand his home back from those two lard-buckets that go pink in the sun.

Turkey 2 is going to finish the job it started in '74; liberate the whole island from the rule of law, snatch it from the jaws of EU justice, force all of the island's indigenous people from their homes and into the Mediterranean sea.

And that will enable more low-lifes like Brinsley to sell off their ex-council houses, give up their Del Boy existence, and move into abandoned Cypriot homes, filling the fridge with cheap Efes beer and spouting smug nonsense on discussion forums about how much of a steal their new property was and so what if we've had to give up bacon for breakfast?

Not sure about your comments, I studied World History in NZ, a pretty nondescript Country, with no particular allegiances to either side of the Greek/Turk conflict except for my unbiased readings which leads to side with the Turks even after GELiBOLU!

You should consider siding with the Cypriots - as it's actually their island.

Don't ever mention Istanbul they don't like it, always refer to it as Stanbul.
