Of course Turkey in 2007 refused to submit the issue of its continuing presence in CYprus post 74 to the ICJ, as is its right.
One would be a fool to try and deny that it refused to submit itself to such jurisdiction for any other reason that it know it would loose.
A fool comparable to someone claiming that the RoC would have done any different in 1965 on the issue of the legality of the unilateral removal and ammendment of the TC communites rights by GC, and for the same reasons.
The only real difference between the GC leaderships ilegalities against the TC community and the TC and Turkeys against the GC, is that the GC leadership effectively got away with theirs and RC and Turkeys are still pending in various ways.
