Mr & Mrs phucking fat piggy HA HA HA. Got your comeuppance at last, thieving cheapskate low life scum. Your wanky lager swigging mates on Cyprus 44 are shitting themselves too.

Who in their right mind would buy in the north now?

Jerry, those poor idiots should not be blamed. Those that should be blamed are the prostitute British governments that diachronically and deliberately were refusing or "neglecting" to properly and accurately inform their citizens, in their FM traveling advices, regarding the real situation of the occupied part of the RoC and the status of the GC properties there. If I were in their shoes, I would have suit the shit out of the British government, for letting me down in such a scandalous and opportunistic manner. Of course now, after the Orams case emerged in 2005, they somehow fixed a bit their traveling advice (it is still miles away from reflecting the accurate facts,) however, too little too late.

The British Government are bankrupt .... those 'poor' people in the north should try the Turkish Government

Rock or a hard place, anyone?

I understand what you are saying Kifeas but anyone with half a brain that was going to spend £000s in a foreign country should do the research to make sure that their investment was safe. Orams could, I suppose, sue the lawyer that acted for him in the "purchase".

actually its quite strange here in the north, all those who have had plenty to say are saying very little.

the british goverment did give the advice not to buy the exchange land properties here, those who did buy got what they deserved.

anna-sh, don't worry i have been saying it all for you! humble pie on special offer in the north today!

This is it. Crooks, including brits taking advantage of another persons tragedy, will always find a way round rulings like this.
