I would go back to 1963 and win the flip of a coin to support the Beatles; this time I'd make sure that a double headed coin is used then we'd win.

We really did lose the support slot on the toss of a coin.

When? Where? How? Tell us more mate/matess.

We were playing a gig in Sheffield when Pete Stringfellow came in and tossed up between us and another local group as to who got the support slot with the 'Beatles' who he had booked for £85, 'From Me To You' was at No1 at the time of the gig.
This is a shot of the band; I'm nearest. we still keepm in touch after all these years.
Roy Simmonite (drummer) who's band won the toss still has the setlist that John Lennon left ob stage that night.

The one thing that we as musicians all owed to the Beatles is that they unshackled us from the music moguls and opened the flood gates, the rest is history.

Maybe I should start reading the Qaran... ...they seemed so advanced...

My apologies for going off topic Oracle...

Forgotten the Planet of the Apes?; the discovery of the Staue of Liberty? No thanks.
