What is your favourite pair of sunglasses?

I used to wear Ray Ban, but I have changed to REVO in the early 90's...

Ray-Ban's since early 80's but struggling to find decent models lately....
Only thing consistent on them is the excellent Bausch & Lomb G15 lenses.
They don't make the frames as good as they used to.

The ones on my head!
Seriously though, any old pair will do - I am not into designer unnies - way over priced IMHO!

I'm the same, I lose too many or end up sitting on them to pay megabucks

Here in UK we have a chain of shops called TK Max. They sell designer labelled items at way below the list prices, mainly because they are end of line or last seasons stuff. My Ben Sherman sunglasses have a recommended price of £45, TK do them for under a tenner. The missus bought some Maui Jim 107s for £12, saved over a hundred.

But like most people, I either leave them in a bar or sit on them to pay too much.

Ray Ban, I got three pairs issued to me in the 90s from the US military. Excellent glasses.

Those of us who have to endure long, dark, northern winters...

BillC! Pardon me but when you say "northern", d'you mean the Occupied North mate?

No brother, On this occasion I'm not on about that dark place, I refer to the northern hemisphere, like here in GB.

Oh thanks for clearing that up mate.

Now, where was I? .... Northern winters can be so depressing so I really do look forward to getting some rays in to the eyes at this time of year. Makes me feel so much happier. So no dark glasses for me.

BillC! You're talking to yourself again.

It's actually worth paying big bucks for sunglasses because the lenses on the cheap ones tend to be really bad for your eyes. They don't even block out the sun whereas an expensive pair most definitely will... 8)

It's all about fashion nowadays. Very few people think about their eyes or crows feet when buying sunglasses. Good sunglasses are genrally the expensive one's. There seems to be a large market in older styles, J Lennon style Ray Ban seem to be in demand.
If anyone wants some Clay Shooting glasses, I do the Beretta, Perazzi and Oakley ranges.
