BillC! Pardon me but when you say "northern", d'you mean the Occupied North mate?
No brother, On this occasion I'm not on about that dark place, I refer to the northern hemisphere, like here in GB.
Oh thanks for clearing that up mate.
Now, where was I? .... Northern winters can be so depressing so I really do look forward to getting some rays in to the eyes at this time of year. Makes me feel so much happier. So no dark glasses for me.
BillC! You're talking to yourself again.

 BillC, were you on the bottle last night?

Not entirely true!

I bought a pair of sunglasses in Florida a few years back for only a few dollars. It was very sunny - and I ended up with 'Panda eyes' at the end of the day. Well worth the two dollars if you ask me. :)

Only thing consistent on them is the excellent Bausch & Lomb G15 lenses.
They don't make the frames as good as they used to.

Yep! I'll second that about the frames, Italian made frames for the European market are not a patch on those manufactured in the US and last me a year or two if I'm lucky. Do they still make them in the US?

Had a pair of US made Ray-Bans for nearly twenty years, the part of the arm that goes over and behind the ear were no more than a smart spring, stopped the glasses falling of the end of your nose and into the sea or down the toilet. Got smashed in an accident some years ago, I've never been able to find the same again.

 Well I stand corrected...

I have been through that myself as it goes. I went skiing to Italy once and wore my goggles without any sun cream, I'm sure you can imagine the outcome... :)
