I am moving to Cyprus in the near future. Can you please tell me are there any benefits available from the Cyprus government while I look for
work?

No, no, no and definately not. Pay into the system when you get a job and there might be some forthcoming.

PURDEY, Is this factually correct or is it the way you would like it to be? If a Cyprioyt comes to my country they will be entitled to benefits inmmediately as a member of the EU. Does this apply in Cyprus or does Cyprus just TAKE from the EU. Straight answer would be good!!!!! Not interested in how you might like it to me

But why did you start two threads? Did you think you're gonna get double pay? :?

Unless you have worked in Cyprus and paid social insurance you are not entitled to anything.
Why do you think the UK gets so many people desperate to geti n. Because it is the only country stupid enough to give money and houses to every Tom Dick and Harry.

I have never had the need to claim in Cyprus. As far as I am aware you need to have paid into the system to be entitled to any form of benefit.
As for coming over and claiming, a bit cheeky when I pay huge bloody tax bills. As for the UK, we lost the plot years ago.
