No, I said an ass and a tool for the rich, not evil and unnecessary. If you are rich, you buy plenty justice, dear boy. As our Mrs T once said, British police is the best police money money can buy, as they implement the law, make that what you will. International law is exactly the same, just different players. International law is in the hands of 5 UN permenant security memebrs. If you think there is nothing wrong with that, there is the resident forum Dr now?

Can't imagine then why you're complaining. Last month you were boasting that Turkey was invited to the G20...Cyprus wasn't even in the ball park! Who's the rich?

Try answering the point. Tell me UN is the best organisation ever and it is not being used and abused to serve the interests of the 5 Permanent members and it has nothing to do with the international law. Please say that and then kindly pay a visit to the resident Dr and take with you that escapee from the lunatic asylum.

ok knucklehead time for your carnival medication....

Paphitis ... How far can ICAO go with its members in terms of suspending ALL their rights to legally fly aircraft if they are violating its rules, as Turkey is with "Ercan"?

Basically since Turkey are in breach of these recognised rules of ICAO, to which they subscribe as members, ICAO should take away their license, or such like, so that Turkey cannot participate in ANY commercial flights.

After all they are compromised as legitimate/safe license holders ....

There is nothing much to research here I'm afraid, because ICAO is just an arm of the UN which is responsible for setting international standards in Aviation Law, whereby member states of the Chicago Convention should abide by.

ICAO can only provide the RoC with the legal means to be able to declare certain ports not under her control as illegal ports of entry and thus preventing any direct international flights to and from the "trnc"

Why not slap a lawsuit on turkish cypriot airlines in Cyprus then? They've got plenty of assets in London including a rep office in Regent street.

What about the use of the land on which "Ercan" airport is built? I understand most of that land is legally owned by a GC, who, of course, never gave permission for such use of their property.
