For anyone that is interested I will be in the Cock & Lion, 62 Wigmore Street, London, W1U 2SA (nearest underground station is Bond Street and Oxford Street is close) tomorrow lunch time (from 12 noon).

I will be with a Charlie mate of mine.

I would be very happy to see anyone from the forum in there.

If you turn up, I will be wearing black or blue jeans, a leather jacket and probably a black T-shirt with a prayer to beer on it!

I hope to see some of you!

Pm me if you require more details.

Had no idea about the place. Did not mind that it had seen better days.

It was the food...which was hideous and hideously overpriced. Anaemic olives, dolmas that looked the aftermath of a bad vindaloo the night before. Tzatziki on a plate slopping over the sides, stale bread...

Bless the waitressing staff as they were very professional but the 'manager' hovered about us staring continuously.

When the final bill came it had increased 'mysteriously' and was not disaggregated - they were extremely rude when I chased this up ""

I'm telling you guys , London has NO decent Greek restaurants !

There are loads of good Greek restaurants in London mainly in north London. This is where most Greeks live not in some dump like Croydon, where you live?

Don't forget to post the group photo on this site, and we can guess who is who.Unless there is only one person in the photo with a black t-shirt on
