How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Thanks YFred...
He wrote about the looting of a Christian orthodox church; and so they killed him; and his killers have never brought to trial.

That's disturbing enough.

What was the reaction? Were there protests? Demands for justice? Press inquiries? Journalists demanding answers about the murder of one of their own? Or has the whole thing simply been brushed under the carpet and forgotten about it... because that's how it goes in the north.

That to me is even more disturbing.

OK, a bit more education. At the time I think the Prime minister was Eroglu. Unfortunately the Police in TRNC are part of the Army, and Army is run by Turkish General, and yes it was hashed up and the killer was never found. There are also around about 35 writers and newspaper reporters who have also been killed in Turkey who's killers were never found. There were some protests but nothing came out of them because of the above simple fact.
Until we can remove the Police from the Army control, not very much can be done I am afraid. So hurry up and have a deal will ya.

If you really want to find out about real heros that put up a fight for Cyrpus and was murdered in the attempt, find out about Kavazoglu and Mishauli, who gave each other one last hug as they were being shot. Those two people are the real heroes of Cyprus.

İlkay Adalı, the wife of a prominent journalist assassinated in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC), said her husband was killed after criticizing a member of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK).

Thanks, Yfred
Only a deal which safeguards the human rights of ALL Cypriots, north and south, and prevents such miscarriages of justice from happening again, is worth securing, don't you agree?

I agree wholeheartedly.

He didn't critisize him. Adali just kindly directed a simple qestion to him from his column in Yeni duzen newspaper.

Those who had any type of relation with "St Barnabas Event/ Activity" must be too stupid to assassinate Kutlu Adalı... Because by assassinating him they would take far too much attention afterwards assassinating Adalı. Were they that stupid?

On the other hand, as far as I know; they didn't steal anything from St. Barnabas church or they stole but what they stole is unknown... or I have no knowledge, yet.

It is said that there's a bible called "St Barnabas Bible" and there were only 4 original copies of this bible in the world. It is also said that, one copy of this special bible was in possession of The office of Commander in Chief of Turkey. Anyone any ideas?

Again with the knee jerk (what about the south ) -

...every EU country has its neo-Nazis... but they tend to be hounded by the authorities rather than used as hounds of the authorities.
