This car has been in our family since new. Reason for sale.....My wifes occupation now involves more town driving and she's finding the Galant a little on the big side for town use so we have purchased a smaller VW Golf for her.

The car is a 1.6 1986 5 speed manual.

Total mileage is 120,000 miles.

It's duty paid. Taxed for 2009 and MOT'd to September 2010.

It has been regularly serviced and has no major faults. Servicing has been carried out by myself, am a self employed automotive engineer.

Its running on sound Michelin tyres.

It does not have power steering but the manual operation is by no means heavy.

The A.C was disconnected for the winter and will require a recharge prior to summer use.

Its a comfortable family size saloon and for its size returns very good petrol consumption figures.

This car is sound and in very good running order so the price is NOT negotiable.

Its going to be a very reluctant sale since its been with us for so long and has never let us down.
