Talat is happy of UBP win as it EMPOWERS his position

Agree? Let me clarify. If CTP had won, Christofias, President of Greek Cyprus, would have told Talat that his so-called deadlines are groundless as his Socialist/Liberal TC Parliament (CTP) were prepared to wait for as long as it takes. While, now, that UBP are in power, Talat will USE this as an excuse to threaten Christofias that there truly is a deadline – April 2010 (the end of his democratically elected Presidency).

In other words, President Talat will soon be forced to Drop Christofias’ solution momentum based on a GC-Majority rule scenario opening the way for a Two State (internationally backed) Cyprus formula. If Christofias refuses, naturally, it is he who will be the responsible Greek Cypriot leader whom, single-handedly, assisted the Recognition of the TRNC.

Don’t believe me?……watch this space.

Viewpoint, I mean cmon... taking into consideration todays realities. GC have proved to be successful in many sectors and yet my President is wasting his precious time by meeting your leader every day for a basically no reason. I dont see any gain from it but only compromises from our side. Turkish Army and Settlers should be off the negotiations and be demanded to fuck off immediately... i am having serious doubts for my last year's vote. Property issue could be sorted after settlers being shipped off and their reentry requests being processed by the ROC Ministry of Interior... the only Ministry of Interior for an Entire Island. I dont beleive in power sharing mechanism and neither in bicommunnal bullshit, you guys were always a minority so stop whining, this is your only chance of becoming a civilized population and be a pillar of a future bridge between islam world and europe... and not Turkey.

The no time tables or deadlines was your sides demands, you should bring it up with your leader. As for your attitude it stink to high hell and will get you nowhere, the army will go the settlers numebr will be reduced but as the world is telling you the solution will be a BBF with political power sharing, do you read any news and what the big boys are saying?
