You continue to talk in riddles if you have anything to say, give it to us clear and concise it will make a hell of a difference and you may learn something.

i made this post expecting people like you to deny the settler rule to the best of their ability. i would have then tried to convince myself that my fellow cypriots over to the other side may, just may have "some" control over the occupied territories, but in all honesty, i went from geared up to flame you down, to feeling very sorry for you. i was sincerely hoping from the bottom of my heart that i was missing something

it almost brings tears to my eyes that the TCs that frequent these boards are silent about this, and it can only mean one thing... that its true... and that they dont like it either. posts like "everyone with trnc citizenship can vote" may be a tad of an ego boost, but in reality, it shows how pathetic the situation has become over there.

too bad it had to end this way, but i'm not sure i want re-unification either.

Should we have applied the racist rules in the arab countries, where the outsiders make up majority of the population, create the wealth of the country but not allowed to vote or become citizens, Who is modern and who is living in the dark ages?
You call yourself Europeans, the old saying goes here, "pull the other one, the middle one's got bells on it"

There is none so blind as he who will not see.

And since you don't like riddles here's another you won't appreciate:

Q: What am I? I never was, am always to be.

A: Tomorrow and the TRNC.

Certainly not. You should not be racist! You should start by allowing Cypriots to return to their lands, their homes – not stop them from doing so because of their religious beliefs. You should repair their churches and give them back. You should repair their cemetries, their gravestones. You should reverse the wanton and systematic destruction of their cultural heritage.

If you want to join the 21st century - see above for clues.

Objecting to settlers being imported, to change the demography of the island, to prevent the indigenoous people from expressing their democratic will; to render a viable reunification impossible is hardly the act of a barbarian.

Do you deny your citizens the right to vote? Settlers have settled and make add the the moziac of people who reside in the TRNC. This is how we will develop if there is no solution...we accepted this in 1974.

VP, a person who has lived in Cyprus for 35 years and has children and grand children there is no longer a settler, no matter what anybody says.
They are TCs.

Problem is, the settlers may well end up being the reason why there is no solution. I hope I'm wrong.

They've changed what it means to be TC and made a solution even more difficult to achieve, which is, I suspect, what Turkey's military and deep state wanted all along.

wait a second,

are you telling me that there were 100k born settlers here in 30 years?

p-lease.

even tho illegal by international law, lets just forget about that and consider the offspring of settlers that were born here are indeed TCs

there was 100k births by settlers?

can we please get serious around here. i'm still waiting for an answer that will shut me up and convince me that the re-unification of the island doesnt mean the legalzation of a bunch of illegal immigrants.

if theres 1 TRUE TC for every 4 settlers, yet you say and try to convince me that this is how it was intended to be... i feel nothing but pity towards you.
