Cyprus 21 April Meeting

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby turkkan » Fri Apr 24, 2009 9:33 am

Because talat will meet with him also at some pointless UN event in the green zone. Instead of posting every meeting, why not just post when they say something interesting or agree/disagree on an issues publicly?

You have to face the reality facing you in the face that you cannot have it all your own way, you have to share and with the world backing a BBF you have no choice but to play ball otherwise gradual recogntion will come.

So, VP, when Obama tells Turkish Parliament that Cyprus should be re-unified under BBF, which he did not get a single applause for that may I add, so what does that actually tell you in what the USA and International community is telling you.?

Barack Obama wrote:Advancing peace also includes the dispute that persists in the eastern Mediterranean. Here, there is cause for hope. The two Cypriot leaders have an opportunity through their commitment to negotiations under the United Nations Good Offices Mission. The United States is willing to offer all the help sought by the parties as they work toward a just and lasting settlement that reunifies Cyprus into a bizonal and bicommunal federation.

But what does BBF under reunification mean to you and the "trnc".?

I'll give you a hint and point out, that the operative word here is...reunify.!

Responding to another question, President Talat stated that Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt will be visiting Cyprus soon. Talat underlined that this visit is very important.

Halil, has Talat taken over from Stephanou as the ROC govt spokesman? Why is he announcing the official visits to the island for the govt of Cyprus?

I want to know what Talat and Hillary talked about. Talat leaks everything he thinks he has a point to make, but has kept his mouth shut on the discussions that took place in Washington......WHY.??

Something tells me that the news he received from Hillary was not very good.!
