How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Those that murdered them did so in the name of EOKA. They were plain murderers and in this instance EOKA acted just like all terrorists.

Bananiot: these days if i had a personal problem with you or your family and it happen to be member of EOKA then yes- some used this to clarify some personal problems and yes i agre the certain people were terrorists but not because of EOKA - just because of their personal character.

Bananiot, can you remind me whether you had any T/cs in Gypsu before 1974?

There in that TC source it says many AKEL sympathizers supported EOKA struggle but not officially supported by AKEL leadership because of Russian interests.

I second this opinion. Grivas and most of the EOKA fighters were well trained, fascist-minded guerillas. Some fascist-minded political groups from Greece were supporting EOKA struggle by financially and arms supply. This is a fact. EOKA can only be the heroes and freedom fighters of right wing GCs and Greeks.

As I previously stated, most probably AKEL had a different agenda like TCs had. How was AKEL relation with socialist countries(Especially USSR) in the second half of 50s?

I don't think we there is a Turk that could disagree with Vraka Man...

You are such a schoolboy cretin, sometimes. Paphiti. This is about what's right and what's wrong.

It's quite clear some innocent family men, who happened to be Leftists, were killed by thugs masquerading as freedom fighters. These were acts of murder committed by terrorists.

If you accuse me of being a 'traitor' for highlighting this fact then you to are a terrorist thug yourself. And if I wasn't such a decent human being who believed in human rights and the rule of law I'd have you arrested and executed without trial.

In this instance if thats what happened they you're right. How about the countless others that collaborated with the Brits, and were relocated to the UK for a new life? Their info led to the deaths of EOKA fighters. What were they?

They were collaborators.

Now, here is question for you.

What is Paphiti, who accuses a fellow Cypriot of being a TRAITOR, for highlighting these terrorist acts?

You're a big boy and I'm sure you don't need anyone's help to deal with Paphitis.

Thanks.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. And I'm not prepared to do nothing.

No, Gypsou had no TC's there, My Great-Grandparents moved there after 74. The village is now occupied by TC's from Vuda ( Kalohorio) a village near Larnaca.
