We have purchased a property in the Paphos area, which we intend to let out. Are there any legal requirements on safety standards the furniture must meet and will new U K furniture meet any health & safety/ fire standards for let property in Cyprus

make sure you screw everything to the floor so a bunch of Romanians don't steal it...

I think what Ray means is that 'health and safety' is not something they recognise in Cyprus yet. :o :lol:

you will have np problems.I ship a lot of firniture from the Uk to Cyprus for people just like you.
The stores will deliver to my warehouse, and it is a weekly service

I'd be worried more about the acceptability of the style than H&S!!!!

In Cyprus we are still allowed to change a light bulb without bringing in an electrician with a PhD in Electrical Engineering!!!!
