When it comes to computers, IBM & HP are the world’s TOP service providers.

my best friend works for a big computer shop in limassol.

they get hundreds upon hundreds of broken HPs in for service every month.

they get many many times lower amounts of toshiba's in.

to top it off, they sell more toshiba's to begin with.

you go HP when you either hit the bottom, or when you just dont know better. cheap is not always better, and thats why theres 6 HP providers... CHEAP

if only they's sell them for cheap, haha. in the end, you get shafted twice

Your friend is FULL OF SHIT because NOBODY in Limassol is allowed to service & support HP computers!

Here’s the list of authorized service providers which are ALL in Nicosia! A faulty (hardware fault) HP machine MUST GO to one of these companies for repairs (regardless of where it was purchased from) or the warranty becomes invalid and nobody is stupid enough to risk that… (you can't even get parts unless you're one of the below...)

The technicians of these companies MUST go for special HP training 2-3 times a year and have appropriate product-specific certification in different categories including… Portables, Desktops, and Servers, etc, to be able to even TOUCH these computers!

Another issue which you’re bound to be clueless about, is that around 80% of computers that come in for repairs have a Windows problem and not hardware!

I happen to be one such authorized systems' engineer for IBM, HP, Acer, and former-Compaq, so don’t come and tell me how my industry works you ignorant nincompoop!
