and Cyprus divided.

Divided illegally. And after we will win the Orams case we are coming after the rest of the filth like you. Get ready ;)

we have had property in Cyprus since 1968 so we have pre-74 title deeds!

My point being that until Turkey is ready to be in the EU Cyprus will remain divided.

There are 2 factors that will being about a unified Cyprus, 1 internal, 1 external.

Internal:
If the current negotiations reach an agreement an both communities vote for it then there will be unification - I feel the chances of this are slim to say the best given the slow progress and the hostility to anything other than absolutist positions from many people and politicians on either side.

External:
Turkey forcing a solution on the TCs - but Turkey will need to get something in return and as EU membership is the only major international aim that would be held up by a non-solution here is the trade off - give Turkey EU membership and Turkey will deliver a Cyprus solution. So if Turkey is not given EU membership then Cyprus stays divided, Cyprus needs to hope the French don't vote against Turkish membership!
