Tassoc Issac & Solomos Solomou whatever happend?

Postby Nickp » Fri Jun 10, 2005 8:00 pm

What ever happend to the people responsible of the deaths of Tassoc Issac & Solomos Solomou?

As this was a taped injustice for the whole world to see, one person being killed for climbing up a flag pole.

Does the TC admin or Turkish military not accept any responsibility of wrong doing?

The last thing i heard was that the ROC had all the culprets identified and there were international arrest warrants out for them via interpol.

I never approved the killings of those people and I am sincerely sorry about them and their families.

But we warned those people not to come, not to provacate anymore. In these events, the main resposibility is on the GC leadership which provacated those people to walk against soldiers.

That depends on how you perceive yourself. If you assume that GC are the only victims of Cyprus proble, you are right. Obviously, that is not the case.

your comment is as ridiculous as me saying

I feel TERRIBLY sorry for all the TCs that got harmed in 63 and onwards but they got in the way of what the majority of the people on the island demanded.

I can understand your position but given the situation a straight forward arrest would have sufficed, keep them in prision for 3 months. The guys weren't even a threat, jeans and top and another guy in his shorts.

These actions were more of frustration of not being able to move within their own country, maybe if the boarders opened earlier it would not have happend as it would have taken the pressure off.

However, i'm interested what action the TC admin and Turkey took and their current attitude is towards it as it's a black and white case with clear cut evidence.

when it comes to this issue you either take a stance or you dont.

you say:

that was terribly wrong

OR

our puppet master and puppet leaders told us they deserved what they got so they should have checked twice

:?: :!: :?: :!: There is still a ceasefire in Cyprus. In this situation, it is just crazy to let people walking against the soldiers as groups and marching. GC police could easily prevent them to pass a certain line to make sure that nothing bad happens.

Instead, for many occasions they didnt do anything. It's their responsibility.

I didn't say it is terribly wrong. Isaid I am sorry for these people.

It is MILITARY there my friend. At that high temperature, it is very diffucult to control the soldiers there. If I saw a guy trying to get my flag in that pyscology, I dont know what I would do either.

our puppet master and puppet leaders told us they deserved what they got so they should have checked twice

That's your own assumption.

I think that the killing there (flag one) was spantenous but your solution of course seems better.

Of course they weren't threat militarily but I dont think that any offence to the flag in such hostile conditions would be serious threat everywhere.
