I can't believe the ignorance level of some people. Many TCs and GCs died because of Grivas just because they spoke Turkish or they believed in a different political ideology...and you're telling me that Grivas liberated Cyprus from the British?? What an insult to Cypriot people.

It was 3 months after the border was open. I went to a cafe in Ledra Street. I met this guy who was working in that cafe. He said he cannot pass the border, since he can be arrested by T.Cs. I asked why. He said, he shoot a Turkish soldier at the border RIGHT AFTER THE SOLOMOU INCIDENT. This guy was the killer of Kilic. I am not sure if he told the truth. Sorry I am giving this info now, becuase I just recalled it. He said he had no choice but to kill him, because of the orders. But it's up to you. You can still turn back to your den and believe in your own truth.

Unfortunately, this is a common characteristics of many GC forum members (not accepting their share of the blame). According to them, TCs left the Republic of Cyprus, TCs formed the enclaves, TCs provoked GCs to attack, TCs attacked and killed, TCs forced other TCs to move into enclaves...

There's not a single evidence that hints that Allahverdi Kilic was killed by Turkish soldiers. It's just rumors but since it's against the Turks, it's portrayed as if it's true by some forum members.
