Be aware though ...big brother is watching ..If you are driving ..you must not eat , or seen to be toying with your Sat Nav ..and of course no mobile phone useage ( no mobile whilst driving i do agree with )... new monitors are soon to be ..or already are !! in force ..to assist ( we are assured ) in changing our driving habits ... Photographic evidence and fine will be imposed ...Innit just great ...NOT

Only outside or in smoking areas that are in pubs/clubs etc. Train stations, tube stations and some bus stations are no smoking.

Other than that, smoke away...you'll find it hard when out in a club/pub though - i did when the ban 1st came in! Many times i sparked up and got fined! :oops:

Ah well.....enjoy your visit! Hope you like rain! :lol:

And here was I thinking that only Pakistanis , Bangladeshis , Bengalis and Eastern Europeans still smoke !!
Almost forgot , each and every Kurd ,mainland Turk , mainland Greek and the entire population of Cyprus over the age of 12 !!
Nasty smelly habit did for 38 years !!!

Z4, I think you have cracked it!

There is a notice on the bathroom door in the hotel I am staying which says "Please keep this door closed when in use, as steam from the bathroom can activate our sensitive fire alarm". Does that sound like an invitation to sit on the loo and have a fag or what?

This hotel also has the option of smoking in your room and paying an extra 100 quid for the privilege "in order for us to restore your room back to a smoke-free condition". What a rip-off!!!!!!!
