The number would be around 50,000. Humanitarian considerations aside, would this agreement be regarded as a plus or as a minus by the folk in RoCy?

I think you will find that that is a red flag to a bull. But it wouldn't surprise me. It's the logical thing to do.

YFred at inönü square tonight TC's and Settlers were united under the CTP flags .....

tıpkı 80000 ler gibi (just like 80000 one )

I have said before, the settlers are more TC than the TCs. Turkey can't control them no more. I wish I was there. My whole family was there tonight.

almost half of the population was there ..... as u know CTP has got Alevi candidate from settlers .He is a candidate from Lefkoşa .His name is Özdemir Gül .He might be in parliment .

This race between UBP and CTP .... they might be close to each other .

may be there will be coalation between them but today Soyer said it is not possible with UBP.

have a read Soyer's today press conferance

Its normal for him to say that just before the election. I can't believe that if Erouglu supports Talat in the negotiations, they can get together to put an end to this. The same may happen on the other side with DISY and Akel working together.
There may well be a God after all.
Halil do you have a list of CTP candidates.

not at the moment .

here is the CTP web page for u

An interesting academic article which touches on some of the points raised in this thread:
