I am a single female who is looking to meet other gay people to make friends with and hang out with. I haven't been on the island that long and i need to make friends. Please point me in the right direction because I have no idea where to start looking.

I have a lesbian friend who needs to make friends with similar minded people. Early twenties. Where can she meet people without it costing her a lot if money as she currently not working? I am straight.
