Give and Take Part Two(land distribution)

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Give and Take Part Two(land distribution)

Postby boulio » Wed Apr 15, 2009 4:57 am

hypothetically what would t/c be willing to give up,besides Varosha, morphou, karpasia which everyone knows are high on g/c lists.

what else to satisfy a large return of g/c to a g/c state(ie:lapithos and karavas area as a exclave.or kythra and surronding villages as a enclave.ie more villages around famagusta ie egkomi, agios serigos, limnia, stylloi)

Because and this is my belief people want to go to there homes,i dont think they care who has more coastline or better farming land.i think we need to get the most possible people to there homes without upsetting the balance.

and what would t/c ask in return .

I think that by judging a lot of people here on the forum by their postings, the "give and take" that they ascribe to is "Give me the land, now take a hike!"

You are so american. You like peace, a piece of everything!
Utu, we clearly cannot go back to 1960. We will unite but in an unconventional way. Not that different to a divorce couple, living seperately but in the same house. Get my drift?

Actually, YFred, I do catch your drift. But you have to convince a lot of the folk south of the Green Line about the merits of your philosophy. BTW, I'm a Canadian, not a Yank.

It's not going to be easy, but it is possible.

You do have yankish tendencies with your manner of speech.

Well, blame the proximity of the USA to my place of residence. Victoria has also a sizeable portion of Americans in its population...

We never married you. You invaded our house without our consent.

Sotos please take it up with Lala Mustafa Pasha. He is the chief culprit.

..and what merits are they? The merit of playing with words so Cypriots can have their human rights taken away with the consent of another Annan Plan.....???
