Prior to the unlawful invasion of Iraq, Nelson Mandela strongly criticised George W Bush for his grim determination to do so, he also accused Bush of Racism and arrogance at the same time.
Since up to that point, Mandela was considered by those who had schooled him [or so they thought] during his incarceration and were quite content with their "Uncle Tom Negro" who was engaged in influencing his former countrymen to toe the line [at the behest of the aforementioned] it must have been quite a shock.
One wonders what incentives Mandela was offered/has received, which enabled those so strongly criticised, to gain such control [behind closed doors] of the same areas of Africa that Mandela [as a terrorist] fought so strongly for in order to ensure that no such control should exist.
How is it that NOW, a statue stands in declaration of his greatness and he condemns one of his own countrymen for resisting the very same powers HE himself once fought against for precisely the same reason.
Mandela is no longer classified as a terrorist, THAT title was taken from him on 27th June 2008, which presumably means that for some time, a Terrorist was holder of "The Nobel Peace Prize !"
It's a funny old world, it would make you laugh if it didn't make you cry, somebody somewhere must have made a right cock-up. IMHO.
