Which do T/Cs consider as their Motherland , I have always maintained that those T/Cs that I know consider themselves T/Cs but consider all of Cyprus to be their homeland .
Almost 400 years since first arriving in Cyprus , many generations ago. Ancestors buried in every corner of Cyprus , the entire island is theirs just as it is ours , but it can only be theirs and ours if our motherland is Cyprus and not a foreign country.I request that only T/Cs vote.

do u know that Turks were living in Cyprus before the Ottomans came to Cyprus ? They were here before 1571 ..... they were living around Larnaka , Evdim and Limassol ... etc .... it was more than 8 settlement area .....

No Halil I did not know that but you can not increase the 100% entitlement that the T/Cs have to call Cyprus their own country just as we G/Cs , Armenians , Latins etc. Four hundred years represents many generations 12 to 15 perhaps !!

DT , this poll is in response to VP gloating on the fact that HIS opinion that the T/C majority want Turkey as their motherland , also in his opinion the RoC is a foreign country to the T/Cs just as Spain , Italy or Malta. It has nothing to do in parading ones intelligence or stupidity but the results of this poll might throw some fresh light on ideas exposed by some T/Cs.

Halil -you will take an extra cheque this month for this stmnt.But you are again wrong.Turks are in Cyprus since Earth's creation. This will allow you to take a double bonus.

Halil, T/cs , including you, are either shelters remained in Cyprus when your motherland sold the Island to British or pure Greeks who forced to change Ethicity/religion just to survive under the so much civilized word of Ottomans.(Linovavbakoi).

Your mistake in Cyprus case was that you had not sent out or kill all Greeks in order to present Cyprus as land of your ancestors, as you are doing with Asia Minor, Istanbul etc/. Ancient Greek momuments in West Turkey presented to tourists as momuments of your ancestors!!!!However you have a problem , when these momuments were created your race was still in thne mountains of Mongolia. This is an enegma which your propaganta have not yet suceeded to solve. The second of course is the language on the momuments but this can be overcomed by saying that Greeks stolen their language from your great ancestors.

Miltiades , with polls in this forum u can not figure out what the Turkish Cypriots thinks about their motherlands .Important thing is what kind of solution TC's are wanting .
with these kind of results it does not show real aim of the parties my dear friend miltiades .it all depends what kind of members are active in the forum .

the term motherland depends what the people are understand from it .For me is motherland is where u were born .... in this case my motherland is Cyprus .... it doesn't mean for me that i don't want Turkey's present in Cyprus . What i believe Turkey will be our guarantor power in this island . They can be our guarantor but no need to station any troops in Cyprus .
