Settlers would like to thank GC and Greek leadership because they owe their existence in North to Hellenic ruling elite. For us TCs, settlers helped us a lot to at least keeping abt 90-100 thousands TCs in Cyprus. We thank settlers absorbing TC culture, way of life and keeping pace with us.

How will they feel, once they are ruled by the majority in the north and the TC's will take their rightful place as the minorities in the north.? We will see what your tune will be then. But then again, you are already getting ready to bail yourself out of the north as soon as you find enough water to do your farming. Plenty water in Switzerland actually, but unfortunately for you, it is a majority rule Democracy here...............sorry, otherwise you would really like it here.!

It did not happen the previous 400+ years, so why would it happen now, but look how quickly you are being absorbed by the settlers, who after all, were meant to be poorly educated peasants from remotes parts of Turkey. Does this then not question the level of the TC's smartness by allowing to be dominated by such people in their “own country” no less, in a very short time of 35 years.?? The TC's really need to do some soul searching here, don't you think.?

Kiks, you left Cyprus early, the GC administration were governing Cyprus from 60 to 74, I just don't know where 400+ comes from but in that time never mind Osmosis, they tried to eradicate the TCs from Cyprus any which way they could. So please get back to the real world, appreciate that most TCs, particularly the younger generation, need a bit of convincing of how to unite and take it easy. Your rambo tactics of you are doing it my way or nothing aint gona work.
There is no question of TC smartness; more people are going to University then ever before.
