can the 8 TCs that voted for "I'm a T/C and consider all of Cyprus is my motherland" reveal themselves?otherwise we will take it that GCs voted for that choice or anyother for that matter.

With their permission I shall reveal who they are since most responded to my pm ,not encouraging them to vote , but to take a look at the thread.
You stated prior to the poll your opinion, I challenged your opinions and the poll so far indicates what I have always believed , that the overwhelming majority of T/Cs consider ALL of Cyprus to be their homeland as one would expect , why are you surprised VP ?

So you lobbied isnt that unfiar??? and the balance is 9vs6 hardly the landslide you dreamed of, can you give us those TCs.

To lobby means to try and influence ones decision on a matter. I merely brought to their attention the ongoing thread , this the pm I sent to all:

As far as revealing who the 9 that voted for option A that all of Cyprus is their homeland 4 have told us on the tread already namely : INSAN , DENIZ, TC , VURIEK .
The balance is pretty easy to work out even for you VP , I will let them tell you.

Have you been reading some on Insan's comments in this forum? Uh, he may actually believe that the whole of Cyprus is his TURKISH motherland!

As a matter of fact I do read Insans posts . I dont think he would endorse your statement above and frankly neither do I .

I am not looking for anyone to endorse any of my comments. It was a comment made in jest because we are talking about Insan...the guy who recently questioned why and how the GC population increased throughout the last century. We are talking about the guy who continues to endorse the settling of Anatolians to northern Cyprus. In a recent thread on Obama's visit to Turkey and the reason on the apparent upgrade of Turkey....he responded by stating "We call it being aware of our responsibilities in western alliance." We, our? Which Western alliance is the so called "TRNC" part of? His recent comments do not seem to be consolatory or pointing to a real unification.

And tomorrow we will learn that the TCs and the settlers have voted for hard liners. But thats ok because your poll is all that matters and from your poll I can categorically state, without reservation, that the TC's indeed want real unification. Thank you moderate Insan!

Lit, GC ruling class has always been in cooperation with Greece regarding their own national cause. Right? GC ruling class have the support of 100 thousands of GCs. Right? Whatever u say it doesn't matter for me because there's no any difference between ur(U, Milti and almost all other GCs and Greeks) arguments and the essentials of Greeks-GCs national cause regarding Cyprus. I previously stated that unrecognized TC officials r in a disadvantegous position when compared to recognized GC officials. While GC officials have direct relations with the officials of whole world for almost 49 years, TC officials were deprived of this right for 49 years. Therefore, TCs need political (and financial ofc) support of Turkey 1000x more than GCs need support of Greece or other friendly countries.

What's ur point? U want me to give support to Hellenic cause just like u, Milti and almost all other Greeks and GCs do?

If "self-determination right" would be granted for the inhabitants of Cyprus; it should have been granted for 2 communities repectively or if we would stay united; ruling power should have been granted equally. GC ruling class in cooperation with Greece's ruling class rejected these and struggled for all or nothing. TC ruling class in cooperation with Turkey's ruling class countered ur struggle and the events led us to today's situation. After all the blood shed and sufferings almost nothing has changed in essentials. We wait for u to change ur mentality, u wait us to change our mentality. Let's wait till ww3 breaks up.

U r skipping the fact that Cyprus was under Turkish rule and unilaterally ceded to UK by Brits. GCs were inhabitants of Cyprus when Turks came. Our situation has nothing to do with minorities living all around the world. TCs have never been a minority in Cyprus. 2 main communities of Cyprus have always been TCs and GCs afterwards Ottoman rule.

So Cyprus was a Turkish Ottoman colony? Do you know how many colonies the British Empire had? Or what about other European empires over the last few hundred years? How about the Byzantines Empire? Do you think all the countries that have had empires in the past should lay claim to their former colonies?

Greek Cypriots were the islands indigenous majority when the Turks came.

Our situation has nothing to do with minorities living all around the world. TCs have never been a minority in Cyprus. 2 main communities of Cyprus have always been TCs and GCs afterwards Ottoman rule.

Insan stop messing with words. You've gone from using the term 'two communities' to '2 main communities'...and you complain that Greek Cypriots are taking advantage of its numerical status. Besides, history didnt start with the Ottoman Empire so why are you only refering to after Ottoman rule??
