Couple of questions

Postby Wilmot Brown » Mon Apr 13, 2009 8:44 pm

We are planning on moving out to Cyprus soon and have a couple of questions that I hope someone can answer here.

We intend to bring out a Lotus Elise. We have been out to Cyprus a few times, and we have seen a few Elises around (only one or two though), but were wondering if there is any dealers or bodywork companies out there incase of accidents and the like. It's a pretty specialist car, so we are worried about how it would be fixed (and covered by insurance) over in Cyprus if it had problems.

Also when we come over we want to bring our cat with us. She is pretty jumpy so were hoping there is companies that can deal with transportation an easily frightened cat without any major problems. Anyone with experience of this sort of thing would be great to talk to.

Thanks for your help!

Lotus Elise, we have an authorized agent who will service it for you...Andys Motors in Limassol. There are quite a few Elise's around so don't worry... as for spare parts you will wait for a month or two in any case if god forbids something happens. As for your cat, i think a shot of sleeping agent would do :) Pretty straight forward, i see many ppl arriving with their pets.

Thats great news Ray. Thanks for that. I've heard of Andys motors. Where abouts is it in Limassol?

Sleeping agent? And then put them in the hold you mean? Will have to look into that. Got any advice on a make of sleeping agent? Personally I thought we would have to pay a company to sort out the cat and get it over there. Good if we can do ourselves, especially with some dry runs in this country.

Thanks again!
