Well according to our constitution; it's an official language of the RoC ;)

The official languages of the internationally recognised Republic of Cyprus are Greek and Turkish. However this does not mean that all citizens are expected to learn both languages.

Apart from that, isn't it a Cyprus Forum rule that posts should be in English?

I don't have a problem with the odd phrase here and there in a non-English tongue, but what is the point in starting of a thread which is supposed to generate a meaningful debate with an article that the majority of people on here can't understand?

I still reckon runaway is a pillock!

I wasn't disputing that .... I was making fun of the actual language! :D

But now you mention it, since that was imposed on us in an undemocratic fashion; Turkish should be struck off from official documents altogether .... a process which is materialising, since the EU are not bothering with that part of our "ancient" history

I still think you should learn official languages of your island. Don't tell me you are thicker than Belgians. And the aim of this thread is not about starting a meaningful debate with meaningless south cypriots. It is just to show fellow TCyps what kind of people their southern neighbours are.
