You too are confusing the practical necessity of a Global Computer Language ... which is based on standardised English (we agree!) .... with the Human need for local varieties of communication, regional dialects as well as national identifiers,

People will continue to speak their version of the Cypriot idiom in their region; in the home. It can even be standardised if there's demand. (In fact there's some work being done in this area).

Some may speak this, as well as Gibrizlija. But to get on in the world, after unification, they will adopt English. Don't fight it Oracle. It will happen. It's common sense.
