If I may be allowed to inject in this discussion, Nelson Mandela was labelled a terrorist once...30 odd years ago a terrorist, today a world statesman...

The question to Milti, what's to say in 25 odd years Mugabe's stature won't be as to what Mandela's is today?...

The reason I ask this question, I believe that if the current discussion was taking 25 years ago, your views on Mandela would have been as to what your views are of Mugabe today...I think this point is quite obvious from your posts/replies...

Well pointed out boomerang, in the case of Nelson Mandela, just prior to his being honoured on his 90th birthday, a serious incident within the bowels of the U.S. administration occurred !!.

Somebody noticed that the name of "Nelson Mandela" was still listed as an active terrorist in the archives held by the C.I.A.

George W Bush hurriedly rectified the situation by ordering the matter dealt with immediately and it was done as the honorary ceremony was in progress.

So much for the integrity of those that occupy the halls of power and wisdom .

Absolutely boomerang, the question of the election which resulted in victory for Hamas was a great embarrassment for Bush, Blair and Olmert.

Such was the threat to the terrorist state of Israel, the Western powers shook with consternation [even Miltiades defecated his strides ] and the fate of THAT democratically elected government was sealed.

Interestingly, it was at that time that Olmert was embroiled in some kind of illegal enterprise which effectively ended his career [I believe] and a billion dollars was stolen [by the Western powers] from the Palestinian government, precisely because the Three Musketeers [as above] were unhappy with the outcome of the election.

Let me give you a down to earth example . You go to a restaurant your order chicken carry and instead you get a plate of shit . Do you politely protest or do you call the shit you were served as shit.

Mandela's greatness is attributable to his readiness to accept the honours bestowed on him by his former adversaries.

Mugabe's greatness is attributable to his defiance [a quality which Mandela once had before he was incarcerated].

Mandela accepts the dominance of the White Man in a Black Nation.

Mugabe does not.

It's as simple as that.

May I ask for your response to the subject of comparisons?.

Hi purdey, thank you for your welcoming words of encouragement which are greatly appreciated.

At this time of the year many people's thoughts turn toward the teachings of the New Testament and the awful fate of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I felt it an appropriate time to 'Raise' the subject of a person whom most seem 'Dead' set against hoping that at least THIS man may receive a fair trial.

Ultimately, with the guidance of the Good Lord AND the exposure of many instances where government duplicity is a distinct possibility, who knows, I may even be able to 'Canonize' Robert Mugabe.

I am sure the said government [were it to suit their purposes] would consider such an act a small price for them to pay, were they inclined to do likewise in order to reach their objectives in Zimbabwe.

The production of this Blog, highlights the fact that you are unable to think for yourself miltiades, surely you must realise that such articles are the tools used by those with vested interests to convince the gullible.

You have failed to give your opinion on the comparisons I invited you to comment on, you have clearly demonstrated your undying allegiance to forces which inflict great suffering on innocent people, you are currently fawning liked a whipped dog among those who are the sworn enemies of your own country, YET, you have the audacity to consider yourself something of a spokesperson for those you feign support for.

I suppose you also consider yourself to be engaged in some kind of debate here, unfortunately you have not the mental capacity to observe the most basic requirement of such an enterprise which is "Civility".

As you have been informed on many occasions by numerous members, insult and bad language are the trophies of the defeated, the moral high ground can never be attained by he who exhibits such disgusting behaviour.

It is NOT your prerogative to end this debate miltiades and it endorses my assessment of you that you should assume it is.

You have failed miserably in your attempts to antagonise me.

You have failed to divulge the source of your [self assumed] extensive knowledge of world affairs.
