Insan confessed. VP... well, that's hardly surprising. But the other three? Are you sure?
It is a secret ballot, so they are, of course, within their rights to remain anonymous. And I'd certainly be ashamed to admit it.

Cyprus's heart must be very heavy having to be denied the right to exist as a nation in its own merit. Strangely enough all international organizations from the UN to the EU recognise Cyprus as an independent country with its own unique identity. Our passports IDs , foreign embassies all have the Cypriot entity yet those that deny Cyprus its divine right of statehood are confused Cypriots who are themselves in denial of their real identity.
LONG LIVE THE CYPRUS E T H N O S !
There is no such thing as a Cypriot ETHNOS.
There is a Cypriot state of which we are proud members but 82% of this state is ethnically Greek.
Just like 98% of the Austrian population is German yet they are still proud to be Austrians.

Get over this insecurity because you're overcompensating by creating things that simply are not there. I am proud to be a Cypriot, swore my allegiance to the Republic of Cyprus when I did my service and follow the Cypriot National football team religiously (threw the last one in for good measure). BUT I AM NOT ETHNICALLY CYPRIOT SAME AS AN AUSTRIAN IS NOT ETHNICALLY AUSTRIAN.
BTW naturally I voted for option 1

There is nothing to be ashamed about declaring how you voted. Not everyone votes and just because you do not vote doesn't makes you a traitor !!
DT. wrote:miltiades wrote:Well , I'm a Cypriot first and foremost and a G/C be default !!!
Just think if all Cypriots felt as I do and of course as indeed thousands of other Cypriots feel. There would be no Cyprob to solve , no majority / minority issues and political parties open to all .
I hate the fact that some Cypriots can only feel comfortable with them selves at being either G/Cs or T/Cs .
LONG LIVE THE ETHNOS OF CYPRUS !!
Milt, you can feel anyway you like, there's nothing wrong with that and I personally like the way you feel. Unfortunately how we feel and the realities surrounding us are 2 different things sometimes.

Mate, are we talking the same language? You're not a traitor if you didn't vote. Though can't think why you wouldn't.
You're only a traitor (in my estimations) if you voted to dismember our homeland.
